#bucketoflists — TerraSonic: 9 albums

In the world of music, the end of the year means one thing: lists! In an (admittedly futile) effort to acknowledge the great music that came my way this year, I’ve pulled together five such lists (so far).

We covered the TerraSonic compilations a few posts back. #4 on our Bucket of Lists is TerraSonic albums. There was so much great music out there, but these were the records I kept coming back to this year. I love them all. They have me excited for what 2019 brings.

The Vibrarian's Bucket (of) List(s):

#1: The Short Form: 5 EP's

#2: TerraSonic: 8 compilations

#3: "Hit" Parade: 33 tracks

#4: TerraSonic: 9 albums

(All lists are in alphabetical order. It’s hard enough to narrow it down to the final items. To then rank them is overkill (though some might say that I blew past that point a long time ago). The way I see it, whichever one I’m listening to in any given moment is the best.)

NOTE: Albums with a (*) would also appear on the overall Top Albums list, coming soon.

Altin Gun* — On (Les Disques Bongo Joe)

Angelique Kidjo — Remain In Light (Kravenworks)

Animanz and Juanita Euka* - Exotic Other (Tru Throughts)

Arthur Melo* — Nhanderuvuçu (Arthur Melo)

Captain Planet — Mystery Trip Vol. 2 (Bastard Jazz Recordings)

Chancha Via Circuito — Bienaventuranza (Wonderwheel Recordings)

Dur Dur of Somalia — Volumes 1 & 2 + Previously Unreleased (Analog Africa)

Free Radicals — No State Solution (Free Rads)

Khalab* — Black Noise 2084 (On The Corner)

Nickodemus* — A Long Engagement (Wonderwheel Recordings)
